Install or launch through Xbox
- Open Valor Mortis on the official Xbox store.
- Select the included-with-subscription option for the standard game with your eligible account. Use that option when your aim is to play through Game Pass.
- Match the route to your subscription: PC Game Pass provides PC access, while Game Pass Ultimate includes cloud play. Essential or Premium streaming requires a purchased copy.
- Use the installation or launch option offered by the product listing for your device. Before confirming a purchase, check whether you have selected the standard subscription game or the separately listed Deluxe Edition.
Choose your edition and check save features
The included subscription option gives you the standard game. The Xbox store lists Deluxe Edition separately, so start with the standard game's subscription option when you want to use your Game Pass access. Compare the Deluxe package only if its additional content is part of your buying decision.
Publisher announcements describe Deluxe Edition as including cosmetic weapon skin packs and a Major Story DLC. That story content is described as a separate side story exploring the world and characters of Valor Mortis.
The Xbox product listing supports Xbox Play Anywhere, Xbox cloud saves and single-player play. Use those listed capabilities when choosing your Xbox access route and planning where to continue playing. For a Steam purchase, check the Steam page's own capabilities, which include Steam Cloud.
Check the Windows requirements for a Steam purchase
If you choose Steam, its minimum requirements specify Windows 10/11, a Ryzen 5 3600 or Core i5-10600K processor, and 16 GB RAM. The listed graphics cards are the RX 5600 XT or GTX 1660Ti. DirectX 12, 60 GB of available storage and an SSD are also required.
What you will play and Steam language support
